The offline calculator for electronics bench work.
Five tools for anyone at a breadboard who needs a number now. Opens instantly, works without a connection, and asks for no permissions.
- Works offline
- No ads
- No account
- No permissions
- Light and dark
Five tools, one tap away
The tools chain together: size a divider, get 3.47 kΩ, and the next step is finding the nearest E24 part.
Try the LED resistor tool
The same calculation Volt runs, here in your browser. Change a value and the result updates as you type.
P = (Vsupply − Vf) × If
For reference only. Verify results before relying on them, especially near mains voltage.

Designed like an instrument
Most calculator apps are slow, full of ads and ask for a connection they never use. Volt does fewer things, faster, with nothing in the way.
Offline and permission-free
No network access, no analytics, no crash reporting. Internet access and Expo's default permissions are blocked in the build.
Results by position, not colour
Every tool has the same four zones: header, Calculated, Entered and keypad. Nothing you type appears in the Calculated zone, so it reads correctly even in greyscale.
A fixed keypad
A 12-key pad replaces the system keyboard, so the layout never shifts and every key is thumb-sized on any phone.
Live results
There's no Calculate button. Empty values show an em dash, never a fake zero.
Two themes, one token set
Light by default, dark on request. Every colour, size and spacing value comes from a single set of design tokens.
Tested maths
Every calculation is a pure function with unit tests, checked against values worked out by hand before any screen existed.
