Privacy Policy

Who we are

Nordrift builds software, robotics, and embedded systems. We are based in Ireland. This policy covers the Nordrift website at nordrift.dev and the applications we publish, including Volt.

Our applications

Volt operates entirely on your device. Specifically:

• It does not collect any personal information
• It does not require an account or sign-in
• It does not transmit any data off your device
• It does not use analytics or crash reporting services
• It does not contain advertising or advertising identifiers
• It does not request any device permissions
• It does not store data between sessions

Values you enter are held in memory while the app is open and discarded when it closes.

This website

nordrift.dev is a static website. We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses in the course of delivering and securing web traffic. This is standard infrastructure logging carried out by Cloudflare as our hosting provider, not data we collect or analyse. Cloudflare's own privacy practices are documented at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when you visit. Google's practices are described in their privacy policy.

If you email us

If you contact us at any nordrift.dev address, we receive your message and email address so we can reply. Mail is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google-hosted inbox. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Children

Our applications are not directed at children and collect no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding personal data held about you.

Because our applications collect no personal data, there is generally nothing to access or erase. If you have emailed us and would like that correspondence deleted, write to privacy@nordrift.dev and we will do so.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Changes to this policy

If we release an application that handles data differently, we will update this policy before that application is published and change the date at the top of this page.
